If you’re like most of us, you have lots of old VHS tapes with precious memories.  But VHS is old technology. Who knows how long those old tapes will play or for how long you will be able to buy replacement VHS players.

WayCAM now has the technology to transfer all your memories from VHS tape to DVD for a simple contribution to WayCAM.

  • For a $60.00 contribution you can choose EP, which is extended playback for a DVD. (Good quality content, will playback in 6 hours).
  • For a $40.00 contribution you can choose LP, which is long playback for a DVD. (Better quality content, will playback in 4 hours).
  • For a $20.00 contribution you can choose SP, which is standard playback for a DVD. (Best quality content, will playback in 2 hours).
We can also transfer your Digital Camera's video to DVD: CF Cards, SD cards & Micro SD cards.  Your contribution is $20.00 per hour of play.

You can have a 6-hour tape broken up into 3 DVD’s if you choose.

All proceeds from transfers go into a designated fund for equipment upgrades for WayCAM, your local access station.

Candidates running for Selectman and School Committee will be participating in the 15th annual Ask the Candidates Live! Q&A/Call-In program on Wayland cable TV on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Viewers can find the program on Comcast channel 9 and Verizon channel 38.

Former Town Moderator Peter Gossels will serve as host once more.

This show is unique in Wayland politics in that it is a live broadcast during which viewers at home can call the studio at 508-358-3742 to ask their questions directly to the candidates. Mr. Peter Gossels will field the calls and may ask some questions of his own if there is time. The program will be taped for rebroadcast before the Town Elections on April 2 and will also be available for streaming online at WayCAM.tv.
